He is a passionate retailer specialist who has experienced over 34 years in the retail industry. His first 15 years were as a practitioner where he got in touch with the multi-format of retails such as national department stores (Cahaya Department Stores), multinational Wholesaler (Makro Cash & Carry), and Hypermarket (Continent and Carrefour Indonesia).
For the next 15 years, his role as a consultant is to help many retailers all over Indonesia, from the west to the east part of Indonesia, grow and become excellent retailers.
Guswai also teaches both in public workshops and in-house workshops for many retail companies and suppliers for various subjects of retail businesses. His lectures can be accessed on Udemy.com.
With his experiences and proven knowledge, Guswai has written 9 books of the Retail Excellence Series and become the mandatory handbook for retailers all over the country.
