With over two decades of diverse retail experience, this seasoned professional embarked on his retail journey in 1999 at Shoppers’ Stop, contributing to the nascent industry's growth. From managing large-format departmental store operations, he ascended to lead the award-winning Customer Loyalty Program, "The First Citizens," as the Brand Manager in Mumbai. His journey continued with Hindustan Unilever Ltd., where he played a pivotal role in launching and expanding their innovative E-Commerce Grocery venture.
In his previous role as the Business Head – South at Future Retail in Bangalore, he oversaw the management of Food & Grocery formats (Nilgiris, Foodworld & Easyday) across a network of 150+ stores. Notably, he orchestrated the successful acquisition and integration of Heritage Fresh Grocery Stores and Foodworld Supermarkets. As the current Chief Operating Officer at Bhima Jewels, he spearheads the transformation of the century-old brand, focusing on modernization.
Actively contributing to industry development, he serves as a council member of the Retailer Association of India and is the category champion for jewellery, watches, and accessories at ONDC. His influential role in the fashion sector earned him recognition in the 2023 edition of Images Business of Fashion, securing a spot among the top 50 fashion brand icons in India.
