His journey began as Consultant with JLL followed by CBRE, which gave him a flavor of the world of retail, seeing all sides of the transaction very closely. After learning the first principles of the retail industry in these 2 big wig organizations, he then moved to Decathlon which turned out to be a career defining move for him. In Decathlon, he showed bias for action and immense ownership by launching some of Decathlon’s flagship stores, thereby making inroads for the French sports company in North India. Having established himself in large format, he joined the largest retail organization in the country- Aditya Birla Fashion and Lifestyle Ltd where he was responsible for managing the existing portfolio of stores and store expansion in the North and West Zone. He helped the organization not only sustain the existing store network during Covid but also opened new stores by creating value for all partners- landlords, developers as well as franchisees. With his new role as Head Business Development - Levi Strauss & Co., he is expected to take the iconic denim brand to the next level with his strategic bend of mind and rigor to create long term sustainable & profitable businesses."
