In 1986, young and spirited Manoj Mehra brought about a fashion revolution in the indian occasion wear market for men where in he launched a brand that brings runway fashion to its client's closet. A graduate from Ripley School of Fashion, London, he created this brand for the man who is a global traveller and is extremely fashion conscious. Since then he has been the front runner when it comes to constant innovation and bringing plethora of new products and services for their long list of celebrity and loyal clients.
Mr. Mehra is passionately involved in all the creative and design aspects of the brand. He works closely with his design and merchandising team as well as new product development division.
Basking in the glory and stopping at the achievement of this magnanimous stature wasn’t Mannoj’s thing. He has been constantly working on taking the brand a notch up. He got world renowned labels - PTO1 , Daniele Alessandrini, Massimo Rebecchi as well as the gold mile of tailoring 40 Savile Row which made Study By Janak, one of the few homegrown brands to excel in field of made to measure and full canvas suits.
Recently Manoj has added a gleaming star to its decorated brand, by being the 1st Indian Brand who has designed, developed and manufactured their own line of fabrics with their own selvedge SBJ MADE IN ITALY, from the best of italian mills. And with this he again proves to be a leader in Fashion Innovation.
Under his leadership, Study By Janak has taken fashion beyond ramps and mannequins. It has carved a niche for itself in the minds of the crème-de-la-crème of Indian society.
Despite such a hectic schedule, he manages his time supremely well and finds time every morning for his other passion – Golf. Just like work, he gives his absolute attention to his family as well.
